Introducing $OGL and TITAN token in the Original Gamer Life Game and Economy
Original Gamer Life or OGLife General Manager Alex Starrett attended the recent AMA session hosted by CryptoDiffer. The AMA happened last 04 March 2024 at the CryptoDiffer Telegram channel. Alex answered questions from the host and from the live community.

Can you tell us what is “Original Gamer Life” in 3–5 sentences?
Alex: Of course! OGL is all about creative freedom, solid gameplay, and honest-to-God fun.
The OGLife game is an immersive, third-person shooter/sim with a heavy focus on player customization, with various game modes running from your typical 3v3 shooter akin to Valorant or Fortnite, to hardcore survival mode similar to ARK, to single-player campaign-driven stories, and the whole thing is wrapped in a 90’s Sci-Fi vibe.
As a team, we think that gameplay should always come first, and in the Web3 gaming space, it seems like fun is sometimes completely forgotten, replaced by an aggressive crypto marketing angle and constant micro-transactions. We aim to be different, and put gameplay at the forefront.
What can you tell about the milestones you have achieved so far and about your upcoming plans?
Alex: The two most important upcoming milestones that we intend to hit will be launching the $OGL token, and releasing an Alpha build showing off what we’ve been working on.
We are extremely confident in our ability to bring you guys a solid game. We are building up on Unreal Engine 5, sporting the most recent metahuman technology, and we truly care about what we are producing here.

Right now, we are working on a lot of exciting updates behind the scenes. Early Access to the game is not quite available yet, but stay tuned to our socials for an upcoming gameplay demo; you definitely don’t want to miss it!
What are your targets for 2024? Will you enter the NFT industry in the future? Are you also thinking about adding an NFT to your portfolio?
Alex: In 2024 we intend to launch our token, and release a playable alpha. stay tuned to our social media channels for all updates! To your second question, we do indeed intend to integrate NFTs. In OGL, all custom gear, loot, and even your own player character can be represented by NFTs for easy storage and access on the blockchain.
How does OGL plan to address the evolving needs and preferences of gamers over time, especially in the rapidly changing landscape of web3 gaming? What steps are being taken to ensure that OGL remains innovative and relevant in the long term?
Alex: Well with our head of game development, Carlos Bott, being a current and active professor of Games Design, we are confident that we will stay on the bleeding-edge of gaming tech well into the future. by building on Unreal Engine 5, and incorporating the latest MetaHuman tech, we are sure that OGL’s backend will remain relevant, and constantly evolving, well into the future.
I understand that users can earn points or TITANS in the game. Can these points or TITANS be used in exchange for players in-game goods or users will have to convert these points to $OGL? If they will be converted, what procedures will be involved?
Alex: Great question! TITANS are the in-game currency, spendable at shops within the OGL universe. By using our companion app, TITANS can be converted into $OGL (and Vice-Versa), allowing players to acquire more exclusive gear, custom weapons/animations, or simply cash out their $OGL as they see fit. With OGL, you are never obligated to interact with the crypto ecosystem, but those who do will be well rewarded!
