Original Gamer Life Embraces the 90’s Sci-Fi Vibe with New Updates on Game Development
Original Gamer Life’s General Manager Alex Starrett is the featured guest in the recent AMA episode between OGL and Crypto Bank. The AMA session happened on 23 February 2024 in the Crypto Bank Telegram channel. Alex answered questions from the group, from Twitter audience, and from the live community.

First of all, please introduce your self and tell us a bit about OGL
Alex: Hey Everyone! My name’s Alex Starrett, and I’m the General Manager for OGL, or Original Gamer Life.
OGL is an immersive, third-person shooter/sim with a heavy focus on player customization and the whole thing is wrapped in a 90’s Sci-Fi vibe. We as a team think that gameplay should always come first, and in the Web3 gaming space, it seems like fun is sometimes completely forgotten about, replaced by an aggressive crypto marketing angle and constant micro-transactions. We aim to be different.
OGL is all about creative freedom and solid gameplay. Set in the early 23rd century, the game revolves around settlers and soldiers working throughout the known galaxy. Whether you want to compete in an Arena-Style shooter, live a simple life and decorate your home, or even have a go at surviving on a brutal Alien planet, you can do it with OGL.
Most of the time, users face an issue of fiat declining in values so what are your unique steps against this issue?
Alex: We mostly focus on quality gameplay mechanics and content at OGL. However, the crypto aspect is, of course, important.
By earning points (or TITANS) in game, players will be able to exchange those for $OGL through a companion app. $OGL can then be used in exchange for a myriad of in-game goods, including skins, weapons, one-of-a-kind furniture pieces, and all manner of DLC and add-ons.
Of course, one can simply pull out a credit card as well, or enjoy the game as-is; with OGL, players are never obligated to spend more than they want.
Tell us about $OGL and tell us how new users can participate in OGL?
Alex: We haven’t launched the game yet, but we will keep the community updated!

What are your new steps to become best in comparison of competitors?
Alex: We put gameplay first, and we keep it fair and balanced throughout. We are striving to be not just a good web3 game, but a rock-solid game in our own right.
We intend to steamroll the competition with a combination of honest, genuine fun, and good old-fashioned know-how.
We have the knowledge, and the will, to make something really cool here, and we intend to follow through.

What are #OGLifeOGL future plans, including upcoming features, releases, and expansions, and how do they envision these initiatives contributing to the platform’s growth and influence in the market?
Alex: The two most important plans that we intended to follow through will be launching the OGL Game and launching the $OGL token. By onboarding partners, investors, new followers, and gamers, we expect that the OGL platform and community will grow and will have a better market performance.
For future features, we also plan to be a metaverse aggregator where we will host a platform with multiple portals for different metaverses. We plan to create an in-game asset secondary marketplace to keep the gamers engaged and sustain their hunger for challenges.
