OriginTrail to go live on Polygon to expand its multi-chain Decentralized Knowledge Graph
Pursuing a multichain vision, OriginTrail has started an integration with Polygon, a full stack scaling network, to expand the OriginTrail Decentralised Knowledge Graph (DKG) availability. Providing a scalable consensus algorithm with a significant throughput, Polygon is a great network to support exponential growth of the OriginTrail DKG that we witnessed in the last few months. At the same time, all the DKG functionalities will be made available to the vibrant Polygon developers’ community, which will unlock even more potential for collaboration between the ecosystems.
The integration is expected to complete in August, enabling the OriginTrail network nodes to connect to the Polygon blockchain in that timeframe. Since the core OriginTrail asset (TRAC) is an ERC-20 token, bridge transactions between Ethereum and Polygon are enabled by default.
For everyone seeking to leverage the OriginTrail DKG in their solutions or run a node in the network, an updated documentation will soon be available for seamless implementations.
