What would a Feminist do is a interview formatted podcast. The podcast shines a light on the issues women have been facing everyday for centuries. In “Sharing stories of objectification and sexism”, host Jessica Valenti talked about women speaking up about sexual assault and how they are looked at when talking about the topic. Valntini goes on to talk about the potential consequences bringing up a personal sexual assault story can have. Even with these consequences, talking about your personal sexual assault story can not only help yourself by getting closure but helping others know it’s good to talk about it too.

In the episode “Trump’s self-defeating misogyny” Valenti talks about Trumps sexist and misogynistic comments and opinions. Valenti goes on to talk about women in congress and how it being default to be one, makes them work harder and be successful.

While listening to the podcast I found myself agreeing with every statement sad to hear the way women have been treated. Listening to women's sexual assault stories and how they were judged just goes to show how far society has to achieve gender equality socially and politically.
