GEO-LOCATION WITHOUT STREET VIEW
This might be coming out late, but hey better be late than never.
In this I would be showing how I located a video without streetview
Below is an example of what a street view is
Benefits of having a streetview:
- Easy to analyze a location
- Easy to track any video/image
The method that I am showing here is not the ULTIMATE one and the video that I used here is an easy one.
So without further ado lets get into it
So I am taking a Ganesh Utsav video from Lalbagh, Mumbai

We know that this video is from Lalbagh flyover (which is 2.45-km long). So what’s the precise location ?

In the above figure you can see I have marked 2 structures
Since we don’t have streetview available of this area we have to look for other source. So searching for Lalbagh Flyover Mumbai in YouTube led me to this video https://youtu.be/u0PiS9FuD_8?t=230
This is a vlog in which the YouTuber rides a bike through the flyover.
Having a close look at this video it gives us a lot of clues such as
STRUCTURE 1 :
STRUCTURE 2:
From the YouTube video we can see a building which as “VOLTAS” Written on it
This structure comes before Structure 2 in the youtube video
Checking for Voltas Lalbagh in Google map gave me the below location
Taking this as clue I was able to location the exact location where the video we are trying to geolocate was filmed
Shape this building from above should be similar to Structure 2 and this should be the location we are looking for
Lets make it clear for you using color codes
Red : Structure 1
Blue: Structure 2
Violet : Voltas Building
