Token Listings
As a permissionless protocol, any IBC-enabled asset may be transferred onto the Osmosis chain, however a few steps are needed to list a token on the Osmosis.zone front end. Here are some of the newest listings.
qATOM — Liquid staked representation of ATOM from Quicksilver.
MARS — The staking and governance token for Mars Protocol.
WYND — the DAO governance token of Wynd DAO, originally launched on Juno.
qSTARS — Liquid staked representation of STARS from Quicksilver.
Liquidity Pool Incentives
Liquidity pool incentives are rewards for bonding liquidity into specific liquidity pools on Osmosis. All incentives, as well as staking rewards, are released after a 24-hour epoch ending at roughly 17:30 UTC. Currently, liquidity can be bonded (and incentivized) for 1, 7, or 14 day periods, however Osmosis Proposal #400 has directed that the 1 and 7 day bonding durations should be removed in a future upgrade.
- Osmosis Proposal #233, passed on May 23, 2022, implemented the current process for determining OSMO incentive amounts by creating categories to which incentivized assets are assigned.
- Osmosis Proposal #377 modified the incentive structure by creating a new category for stable-swap pools.
- New OSMO incentives are approved via on-chain governance proposal, and are perpetual unless and until removed by governance. As with all other governance matters, discussion is held at gov.osmosis.zone.

External Incentives
External incentives are incentives that can be added by external parties to reward bonding liquidity into specific liquidity pools on Osmosis.
- External incentives can be added at any time, with a nominal fee
- External incentives can be matched with an equivalent value of OSMO under the External Incentives Matching Program passed in Osmosis Proposal #47.
- Parties adding external incentives determine a set number of epochs (days) over which the incentives are distributed.

- 944 ATOM/qATOM
stkATOM — Osmosis Proposal #424 added matched OSMO incentives to the ATOM/stkATOM Stableswap pool. pSTAKE had previously added ATOM incentives to the pool.
