Best of OST KIT Alpha III Community Vote: New Round
Last week we announced the Best of Alpha III Community Vote, where the OST Community got to vote for their favorite OST KIT Alpha III POC. Eight of the 90+ projects are eligible to receive 250,000 additional OST for their Proof of Concept, of which three get chosen by the OST Community.
While we are thrilled to see so many people participate in the voting, we noticed some projects received an unrealistic amount of votes compared to the number of video views on YouTube.
We decided to reset all the votes and to organize a new round of voting, meaning all projects will start with zero votes to ensure each Alpha III projects gets a fair chance. The new Best of Alpha III Community Vote starts today at 3 pm UTC and will run until Friday 24 August 2018, 1 pm UTC.
Voters are now required to log in with Facebook and they must pass a Captcha check before they can vote. You can now vote only once.
We realize online voting comes with certain risks, but we believe in the good of the OST Community, and we hope this new round of voting will result in three Best of Alpha III rewards chosen by the Community. If we again suspect projects of using voting bots or other dishonest practices to get more votes, we reserve the right to terminate the Community Vote and to have Team OST choose all of the eight Best of Alpha III projects.
