On 22 August 2018, we launched the OST LIVE weekly video podcast to feature blockchain experts, software engineers, and case studies with real businesses using OST and the OpenST Protocol. We released 54 episodes in 4 months, reaching over 11k views and 1k hours watched on YouTube. More than 15 industry experts joined us to discuss fundamentals of blockchain such as custodial solutions, decentralized applications, testnets, and token economics. We’re excited for what’s to come in 2019.

Upcoming Guests

Venture capitalist Christian Kameir will join us once again, this time to share insights from his recent Forbes article on the state of security tokens. Other guests will include author and podcast host Matthew Aaron, Delta CEO Nicolas Van Hoorde, and climate initiative advocate Joseph Pallant.

  1. 11 January — Christian Kameir, Managing Partner of Sustany Capital
    Christian Kameir is managing partner of Sustany Capital, a blockchain venture fund headquartered in Newport Beach, California, and an official member of the Forbes Finance Council. Kameir has been a tech entrepreneur since the dial-up days, leading the merger of two of the earliest internet service providers as general counsel for Nikoma, today part of the largest European ISP. His current focus includes tokenization strategies, smart contracts, and virtual asset investing. Kameir will discuss the current state of security tokens.
  2. 14 January — Matthew Aaron , Founder of Crypto101
    Matthew Aaron is the founder and host of Crypto 101, a podcast focused on educating the average consumer on the biggest names, technologies, and projects in the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry. Aaron will discuss his experiences in crypto over the past couple of years and will share insights from his book, Johnny’s Guide to Cryptocurrency.
  3. 16 January — Nicolas Van Hoorde, Co-Founder & CEO of Delta
    Nicolas Van Hoorde is the CEO of Delta, a free Bitcoin and cryptocurrency portfolio tracker app. The app tracks coin prices and market charts, providing alerts from several blockchain projects, including OST. Van Hoorde will discuss trends in crypto, his success with Delta, and growth strategies for blockchain-based projects.
  4. 30 January — Joseph Pallant, Founder of Blockchain For Climate
    Joseph Pallant has been active in the carbon market since 2004, providing project development expertise and strategic direction across private, public, and NGO endeavors. He is the founder of CPS Carbon Project Solutions Inc., a pioneering offset-development firm and Blockchain for Climate Foundation, putting the Paris Agreement on the blockchain.
