Last month on OST LIVE we had a great lineup of guests including Trent McConaghy, Pavel Bains, Ben Chan, and Nate McKervey. We explored the topics of AI on the blockchain, decentralized databases, cryptocurrency custodial solutions, and the benefits of distributed ledger technology for enterprise. We released 15 episodes in October, generating over 17,900 watch minutes on YouTube alone.

We’re excited to announce our upcoming guests on OST LIVE!

Our November 2018 lineup includes Ethereum community builder Maria “MP” Paula, OSTonians community leader Glen Hendriks, serial entrepreneur and investor Sal Matteis, and Matthew Liu from Origin Protocol.

  1. 7th November — María Paula “MP” Fernández, Organizer of ETHBerlin and ETHMagicians
    MP
    most recently organized the highly regarded ETHBerlin conference and hackathon as well as ETH Magicians at Devcon in Prague. For her day job, MP manages External Relations at Golem. MP will share insights from the just completed Devcon IV 2018 in Prague, community building, the current state and progress with the Ethereum developer community, and her particular passion for inclusion and diversity in the Ethereum community.
  2. 14th November — Glen Hendriks, Community Manager of the OSTonians unofficial community.
    Glen Hendriks is one of the most passionate OST community supporters, highly active in the official OST Telegram Community and one of the principal organizers of the OSTonians — the unofficial OST telegram community. Glen is also a member of Disruption Disciples, an organization that promotes the critical exchange of ideas, knowledge and collaboration. Glen will discuss his passion for all things OST, how he got started in blockchain, his experiences managing community in a non-paid role, his developments on Community as a Service (CaaS) and community building in a blockchain oriented business.
  3. 21st November — Sal Matteis, CEO of Fusion
    Sal Matteis is an entrepreneur, operator and senior executive in technology with experience in startups and large companies. Sal has worked at Yahoo as Head of Programmatic Ad Products & Platforms. Today, Sal is a mentor at 500 Startups, an advisor and investor of multiple projects, Venture Catalyst at InnoPeaks, and CEO of Fusion. Fusion holds regular Blockchain hackathons and accelerator programs. Sal will discuss his experiences as a VC, experiences with blockchain, and his views on the current crypto market.
  4. 28th November — Matthew Liu, Co-Founder of Origin Protocol
    Matthew Liu is the Co-Founder of Origin Protocol, a protocol for creating sharing economy marketplaces using the Ethereum blockchain and IPFS. Matt was the 3rd Project Manager at YouTube (acquired by Google) and VP of Project Management at Qwiki (acquired by Yahoo) and Bonobos (acquired by Walmart). Matt will discuss how Origin is creating a sharing economy without intermediaries.

In November we will also be featuring OST team members Francesco Pacella (VP Product), Drew Brownell (Director of Financial Planning and Analysis), Jordan McDonald (EMEA Business Development Manager), and Pro Gevorgyan (Senior Blockchain Engineer) on OST LIVE.
