What is the “mindset of accomplishing difficult tasks” that goes on behind-the-scenes of these popular hit anime titles?
Masao Murayama, who retired from Madhouse, founded MAPPA in 2011. By collaborating with passionate anime directors such as Sunao Katabuchi, Shinichiro Watanabe, and Sayo Yamamoto, MAPPA continues to release productions of superior quality. In this interview we talked with MAPPA’s current company president Manabu Otsuka and production head Fuko Noda.
