#350: Preparing for Isekai Battle’s Optimism Migration
Isekai Battle is migrating from Ethereum Mainnet to the Layer 2 chain, Optimism.
■Preparing ETH (Optimism)
After migrating to Optimism, you will need ETH (Optimism) for gas fees for playing Isekai Battle.
Please prepare ETH (Optimism) ahead of time by bridging.
You must pay for gas when bridging, so we recommend bridging when the gas fees are low.
First, you will need to connect your wallet to the Optimism chain.
Click on “Connect Wallet,” and then add the Optimism chain to your wallet by clicking “Add to Network” on this page.

You can prepare ETH (Optimism) by bridging or using an exchange.
■Bridging
We will explain with Oribiter, which is compatible with bridging from chains other than Ethereum Mainnet.

1. Connect your wallet from “Connect a Wallet” in the top right.
2. Select the chain you want to bridge from in the “From” pulldown menu.
*We recommend bridging from a chain with lower gas fees, like Polygon, since bridging from the Ethereum Mainnet can be expensive. (We will select Ethereum for the explanation)
3. Enter the amount of ETH you want to send in “From”, and click on “SEND.”
4. It will show “CONFIRM AND SEND” on the next screen, so click it and sign with your wallet.
5. When the transaction is finished, your bridge is complete!
■Using an Exchange
If bridging from the Ethereum Mainnet, transferring to an exchange (like Bybit) and sending ETH to the Optimism chain may be cheaper than bridging.
We will explain using Bybit. (Identity Verificatioin is needed.)

- Click on “Deposit” in the top menu.
2. Select the coin to deposit and a chain, and click on “Acknowledge.”
3. Transfer ETH from your wallet to the address that appears.
*If using MetaMask, open your MetaMask and click “Send,” enter the address, enter the amount you want to send, click “Next,” and “Confirm,” and your assets will be sent.
4. Click “Withdraw” under “Assets” in the top right.
5. Select “ETH” for Coin, and “Optimism” for Chain Type, enter your wallet address and the amount you want to withdraw, and click on “Confirm.”

■What is Isekai Battle?
A game derived from Isekai Anime Characters, “Isekai Battle” is a fully on-chain game in which players battle for Fragments (NFT).
