This season’s anime will be over soon, and with information on new summer anime flowing left and right, how are you all spending your time?
Do you know about the event Tudukimi? It’s an event at which all the latest anime trailers for the upcoming season are screened back to back over a three-hour period. The event aims to eliminate as much as possible the trend of giving up on a new anime before even watching the first episode (colloquially referred to in Japanese as “zero wa giri”) by getting audiences invested so that they want to continue watching the anime that studios worked hard to create.
The event loved by everyone! The 12th Tudukimi takes place tomorrow, June 28 (Friday) at 6:30 pm(JST)!

Tudukimi is held every season and began in September 2016 with the goal of eliminating the trend of *zero wa giri*. At the event, trailers for the newest anime of the season are screened back to back. The event offers fans a sneak peek at upcoming anime and takes place every three months before the new anime season begins broadcasting. Comprised of official trailers shown by the respective license holders, there is no shortage of fans who leave Tudukimi with lots more anime on their watch list. The event continues to evolve on a global scale, with over 150,000 viewers tuning in from all over the world on Nico Nico Live, Bandai Channel, Facebook LIve (in English-speaking countries), and Bilibili Doga (in Chinese-speaking countries).
