Activity Report Vol. 96: [Important] The Otaku Coin General Incorporated Association Is Born!
Moving toward being a more impartial organization, the Otaku Coin Association takes a big step forward
In July 2019, the Otaku Coin Association officially became a general incorporated association! By becoming a general incorporated association run by multiple trustworthy companies and organizations, and with legal status as a general incorporated association, we will achieve and realize the following goals!
① Expand into domestic and foreign industries
As a community and industry group that many businesses and specialists can take part in, we aim to have fans worldwide and the industry as a whole better understand the concept of Otaku Coin and achieve even greater goals.
② Elevate credibility among fans
Using blockchain, we aim to create a fundraising platform in which fans from all over the world can directly take part (currently in consideration phase). The platform will feature a new structure in which fans can take a direct part in the decision making to create a better future for otaku culture.
③ An organization conscious of impartiality
As an organization run by members and partners who represent the entertainment and content industries and who go beyond companies and capital ties, we will pursue the issuance and spread of Otaku Coin in a way that reflects the idea of a decentralized and open blockchain.
At this stage we take our first step toward gaining a foothold in becoming a decentralized organization with an ideology based on blockchain, which has been the aim for the Otaku Coin concept since the beginning, and moving forward we aim to become even more decentralized while complying with each country’s laws and guidelines.
