Version 1.28 of the Otodata Nee-Vo Dashboard brings four new features: a new “Inventory” column, multiple-selection capability for filters, a graph which shows the last 5 fills, and a map which displays nearby tanks. In addition, our Web API has been modified to add a new property to model Device.

The new “Inventory” column shows the current fuel amount in a tank.

Multiple-selection filters

Multiple-selection filters make it easier to refine your searches. The example below displays all tanks with Low Level or Critical Level status.

Refill

For each refill, we log an estimate of liters added to a tank. We have added a graph which displays the 5 most recent refills. We also suggest what the optimal quantity of fuel to deliver would be based on the Critical Level threshold and Overfill threshold (80% for a propane tank, 95% for other types). The difference between these two thresholds, converted into liters, represents the value of an optimal refill.

Two refills at the moment, the others will appear over time.

Tanks nearby

If the geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) of a tank are valid, a new item will appear in the context menu (right-click of the mouse). When planning a delivery, it is now easy to see if other tanks nearby are “soon due” for a refill. On the home page, right-click on a tank to bring up the pop-up menu and select “Show Nearby Tanks”.

New item in context menu

By default, the search for a nearby tank is limited to a radius of 15 kilometers and selects tanks that have a refill potential of at least 3000 liters. In the example below, the radius is expanded to 25 km and the minimum potential is reduced to 1,000 L.

The radius and the minimum refill potential can be adjusted according to your needs.

Below the map is a list of tanks found nearby. A delivery can be quickly scheduled for each.

Web API and Device Model

A new tank status field will be added to the Device model of our web API. If you are already using our API, an updated version of the documentation should have already been emailed to you. If you have not received it please contact us and we will provide you with a copy.

We hope that these new features will meet your needs. If you have any questions or comments regarding these new features, do not hesitate to contact us at 1 (844) 763–3344 or by email.
