School for Thinktankers 2022
People make the School for Thinktankers! Each year we welcome a new cohort of participants and trainers. We get to learn from each other — what motivates thinktankers, what changes they are trying to bring about and how they are going about it.
The School covers the many dimensions of think-tanking — such as building policy relevant research agendas, communication strategies, fundraising, monitoring, evaluation and learning, or think tank branding, credibility and transparency.
In 2021–2022 we ran two schools, joined by over 50 participants and 20 trainers from 25+ countires — starting at 6am for some and 9.30 pm for others!
The School is traditionally hosted annually in a different city around the world. But in 2020 we moved online due to the global pandemic.This year we continued online, although in the future we hope to offer both an in-person and online School.
