The past ten months have been incredible. We set out to make your daily commute more enjoyable by helping you discover the podcasts and news you’ll love in the most driver-centered way possible, and that’s exactly what we’ve done since January. Otto Radio is the first product we built at CarGlass, and we are excited to finally share it with you.

Over the last two months, early Otto-ites from around the country have logged more than six coast-to-coast trips with a beta on their iPhones. Thanks to their feedback and enthusiasm, we are finally out of stealth mode. Here is a snapshot of their combined dedication:

We designed the whole listening experience from the wheels up for drivers — so it’s uber-safe to use in your car. We also want to consistently find stories you’ll be interested in with as little effort on your part as possible. So we built a powerful learning engine that gets better and better at knowing what stories will capture your interests — even as your moods change at different times of the day.

The good news is that we know the app benefits commuters, because our early adopters have told us how much of a difference it has made for them.

We have this initial community to thank for bringing us to this point! And we look forward to transforming more mundane commutes into journeys full of new ideas, new laughs and new ways of looking at the world — one trip at a time.
