I went to Stowe Landscape Gardens yesterday, to see an exhibition about the war, and to immerse myself in the autumn colours. The Remembrance Day sculpture For Your Tomorrow was there, and the experience of walking through it was very moving.

The colours exploded across the rest of the parkland, too, with walkways bathed in oranges and yellows, and the glorious lakes reflecting the statues and sculptures around the grounds.

This is Stowe school, where many high profile people went to school, most memorably, Richard Branson, British billionaire, who started his first business while studying there.

The iconic Stowe bridge was providing an amazing photo opportunity, in the autumn colours.
