Pink Winter Sky
Right place, right time
I took this photo right outside of our front door. The winter sky was so appealing. The small tree branches are like tentacles reaching high. The lighting was just right. A short time later, it would have been too dark.
The colorful sky bears contrast to the minimal color of winterscapes — a lot of black and white and their variations. I was fortunate to be able to capture the shot.
While it’s not the ideal forground I would have chosen, the trees and skies compensated for that. Let me know what you think of the shot. How would you improve it? Did you find it an appealing subject like I did?
