“Everything we human beings have created on this planet was, essentially, first created in our minds.” -Sadhguru

Alright. So this is the first line of a speech by Sadhguru, an interesting guru who’s anything but Sadh (Sadhly, the puns won’t get any better). Seriously, though, the speech means a lot to us, because it provides the most accurate explanation of our overall mission with nOrm.

Generally, Sadhguru’s speech outlines how you can focus your thoughts, physical actions, emotions, and energy towards a preferred version of yourself to create the reality you want.

We’re focused on the same principle, but rather than outlining how you can positively change yourself — you’re perfect already — we’re developing a way for humanity, as a single being, to create the reality that it wants.

Simply put — we want to help humanity realize its full potential.

To help humanity realize its full potential, we’re drawing from the quote that kicked off this post to help humanity create a clear mental picture of its preferred future.

To get started, we’re having different people share their perspective of their ideal future on our behalf so we can develop the most accurate picture of what humanity really wants. Once more people are able to share their voice through us, we think humanity will start to rediscover how aligned its mind already is. After that, it’ll be able to focus its mind and create whatever the hell it wants.

Are we trying to say that humanity has its own, tangible, mind? Yes.

Here’s how we see it — we think each person is a neuron in humanity’s brain, and humanity’s neurons fire to create this reality every time people communicate — verbally or nonverbally — and whether or not they agree.

We get that it seems like humanity can’t make up its mind about anything. Based on humanity’s current state of affairs, and its less than perfect past, humanity might seem a little mentally unstable. However, similar to how human beings evolve over time, we’re optimistic humanity is capable of amazing growth once it defines its purpose.

That’s all we’ve got for now…
