Learn to embrace the fear.

Fear has a power grip on so many people. It leads to many negative consequences including unfulfilling lives and uninteresting people. Fear can keep us from growing when we let the uncertainty of the unknown get in the way of our true potential.

Thankfully, courage can change that.

You can overcome your fear, though. You simply have to believe that you will be okay with anything that comes your way. You have to believe that you will be able to adapt. This idea of adaptation is incredibly powerful. If your most favorite person dies or leaves you, you have to be comfortable with the idea that you can overcome the pain. Every inch of your core has to believe that it will not defeat you. Yes, you will experience betrayal, pain, and loneliness, but you will can also learn how to grow in spite of it all.

I used to be a dancer and when every we would do stretches, they would tell us to take a deep breath and then push a little deeper into the stretch.This would help us to become more flexible. It is the same with your fear. When you feel it, remember to take a deep breath and embrace the discomfort. Know that it will not last forever. Push deeper into whatever it is your afraid of. Realize that what you are doing is growing and changing. These are the growing pains. You will become stronger because of it.

As you continue to push past your fear, know that it will continue to get easier. Your comfort zone will expand, and the fear that once used to hold you back will now be a reminder that you simply learning.

Be courageous, because it is worth it.
