I do not know, I do not know
Which way the wind is going to blow
It may blow West — but I know this
You’re the one I want to kiss

In its wrath, it may blow hard
It may knock things about the yard
It may blow North — but I know this
You’re the one I want to kiss

The wind may shove, may make a sound
And in its fury twist around
It may blow East — but I know this
You’re the one I want to kiss

It may blow soft, and gentle too
And touch your face like I love you
It may blow South — but I know this
You’re the one I want to kiss

The wind is wild, its path unknown
I do not know, I’ve not been shown
It may blow Up — but I know this
You’re the one I want to kiss
