Consumers are shifting away from seasonal fashion trends

In a recent EY study, Consumers expressed that inflation is affecting their shopping habits, as expected. But, 85%? that’s how many of consumers state that inflation is affecting their shopping habits.

More importantly, 64% stated they don’t need to keep up with seasonal fashion trends.

What does this mean to Brands and Retailers? It is Back-to-Basics. So, focus on the foundational items that consumers must need and will buy for their wardrobe.
