Stuck In The Fitness Info Vortex? Here’s How To Climb Out
How to learn through doing, not consuming
I just spent a wee bit of time scanning YouTube and bl*ody hell — the amount of loooooong, drawn-out fitness content is INSANE.
On my kinda ‘home screen’ thing I was presented with:
- A mega-long video about intermittent fasting
- A deep dive on biceps exercises
- An extensive guide to “the best carbs for weight control”
- A 30-minute mobility routine
Interesting topics for sure, things we should learn a bit about…
But to watch it all would have taken me over 2 HOURS!
And for what?
Just more information to add to the pile that’s already overwhelming us? There’s really not that much to know.
Let me save you those 2 hours right now:
- Intermittent fasting ‘works’ because it restricts calories and keeps you out of the kitchen in the evenings. Not magic, just practical. Suits some folks, but not others.
