The effect of Enhancing Greenhouse gases on Earth

While planning for the future of our planet it is important to consider all economic, sociology, and political factors. There is evidence that humans are causing climate change, which will result in drastic consequences for life on planet earth. Climate change is described by scientists as complex shifts now affecting the planets weather and climate systems. Climate change does not only encompass rising average temperature on earth, but also extreme weather events, shifting or declining wildlife populations and habitats, sea level rising, and a range of other impacts to earth. “All of these changes are emerging as humans continue to add heat-trapping greenhouse gases to the atmosphere.” (National Geographic) Greenhouse gases effect is a natural process that warms the earth’s surface.

Enhanced Greenhouse Effect Occurring:

The burning of fossil fuels, such as coal, oil, and natural gas, agriculture and land clearing are increasing the concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. This enhanced greenhouse effect, from human activities and overconsumption of resources is contributing to the warming of the Earth.

What can be done?

There is not going to be one right answer to what is going to reverse the effects of the over consumption of greenhouse gases, but there will be many solutions. Many people steer away from these solutions that exist because many hinges on humans changing the way they behave. Humans do not want to change their actions and activities they are participating in, but the Earth is their home, and without a planet no human beings will be able to survive.

Actions that can be taken:

To create more efficient sources of energy, Individuals must shift the way we make and consume energy on a daily basis. This requires the use of technology to create a way of encouraging less waste and more intelligent uses of our resources. To improve energy to become more efficient there should be a priority for the use of wind and solar power. Wind and solar are both natural to the earth, and are efficient ways to produce energy using technology.

During these times, we are living in today, where technology is advancing to new levels, we need to continue to think of ways to integrate technology with creating efficient and sustainable energy practices.
