When you work long enough with the same team on multiple ideas, invariably some ideas show more promise than others. Some ideas are a complete dud from the start. Some start out well and show all the signs of containing the seed that will grow, spawn new ideas and eventually become an empire. While others sneak up at you behind your back and suddenly explode in a glorious fanfare of unicorns and rainbows.

Well, maybe not unicorns and rainbows, but at least succeed in helping reduce your client’s workload and simplify processes and succeed as in being financially viable for us as a software company.

Which brings me to the headline. For the past 18 months we’ve been working behind the scenes with Icelandic ad agencies to develop ad-planning- and ad-serving software for small and medium sized agencies, where the goal is to centralize planning, easily share campaign assets and simplify the process from planning, purchasing and serving for everyone involved.

Airserve — Digital ad serving made easy

Currently approximately 50% of Iceland’s yearly ad-spend (approx. 42 million USD) is being planned and organized through Airdate, our cloud ad-planning software and 35% of ad-impressions in Icelandic online media is being displayed and tracked through Airserve, a simple but extremely effective and scalable ad-serving solution.

We have a lot to share with the world, so rather than writing a long article on every aspect of our solution, we will publicise a few shorter ones in the coming days and weeks.
