Pair of 1974 Honda XLs. 250cc and 350cc

Millican Valley is located in the Oregon high desert and offers 255 miles of trails. Seven of us set out for a four day adventure which started with torrential rains and ended with sunny skies.

The vintage bikes took some tinkering.
And more tinkering.
And finally, open heart surgery in the dark, off the back of a pick-up truck. The surgeon was getting tired.
80’s era Honda XR 200
2010 Husquvarna TE 250 was the newest of the bikes. Everyone took it for a spin and agreed that a modern dirt bike makes riding a lot more fun and comfortable.

Maple Bourbon Rosemary Sours were the cocktail of choice. We finished an entire bottle of maple syrup.

A Swedish Candle! This was one of the coolest things I learned on the trip. Use a saw to almost fully cut wedges. Light and you have a fire that burns from the inside out in a very controllable fashion.
