Automatic issue promotion

Keeping issue status in sync with related pull requests can quickly become a chore.

Overvio can now automatically advance an issue’s card to a specific status when a pull request fixing that issue is opened.

To take advantage of the feature first configure it in your project’s settings. You can find it in the Advanced tab and it will default to the in progress status if your project has it.

Then indicate fixed issue numbers in your pull request’s description as usual. Overvio will look for the same keywords that cause GitHub to automatically close issues after a merge to master.

Some examples:

• Fixes #110
• Resolves #234 and resolves #235

The full list of allowed keywords can be found here.

Now Overvio will automatically advance related issues to indicate their new status and once you merge GitHub will close the issue for you.

Please note that since Overvio does not currently process any commit messages the keywords are only recognized when they appear in pull request’s description.
