Overvio + Harvest = time-tracking that works

Time-tracking is a chore. Nobody really likes it. However, there are some valid cases where you might have to (or want to) use it. Then, the simpler, the better.

Juggling between time-tracking software, GitHub and your issues is neither fun nor convenient. Overvio makes it easy by shifting it right into the backbone of your work — issues. We limit the whole process to a single stop and provide easy, direct correlation between time and GitHub issues. Thanks to this direct relation between time and tasks you will get a better grasp of how the time has been spent in your project in your Harvest account.

You will be able to start and pause time directly from the issue you’re currently working on. All entries will automatically get appropriately described with direct links to corresponding GitHub issues. As a bonus, you also get an easy way to review your weekly effort from the project’s menu and get a quick access to your full time-sheet on Harvest.

Start and pause time-tracking for your issues directly from Overvio

To start using time-tracking in Overvio you have to enable it in your project’s settings and log into Harvest. We support different Harvest accounts/domains on per project basis. Sorry folks, at this very moment we only support Harvest but we hope to have further integrations ready at some point in the future.

So if it happens that you use Harvest and GitHub you should give Overvio a try now and let us know what you think (and how can we improve it)!
