ARK: Survival Ascended

We’re thrilled to support the launch of ARK: Survival Ascended and the ground-breaking User-Generated Content (UGC) integration which was announced at Microsoft’s peekaboo event!

For the first time ever, ARK mods developed on PC will seamlessly operate on consoles, significantly extending the reach of modders and elevating the gaming experience for players across different platforms.

This monumental move features content from both amateur creators and major game studios, like Blue Isle Studios and Skymap Games, signifying a paradigm shift in how game developers approach UGC.

Welcome ARK Authors!

We are so happy to have with us the ARK authors community!

Since you joined us in late October we have already:

  • Created special documentation and moderation guidelines for you to follow the unique project creation process in ARK: SA
  • Hosted a dedicated Town Hall where we introduced ourselves, presented our vision for the game and our tools, and answered questions (for the video, please visit our CF Developers Discord)
  • Heard a lot of your feedback and made many improvements, including but not limited to increasing the size limit for uploads, removing the character limit from descriptions, and solving many errors you encountered at the early stages. Give us more feedback in our Ideas Portal and Discord server!
  • Learned to know and love your amazing creations already uploaded to our platform!

We also have several things planned that we would like to share with you:

  • Game launch on PlayStation — following the recent Xbox launch, Wildcard Studios will launch ARK: SA for PlayStation in early December, which means your mods can now be cross-platform!
  • ARKathon — The ARKathon will feature $350,000 in rewards and 2 unique tracks for modders and game studios. Submissions start on December 5 so ready your devkits! Learn more here.
  • More fixes, upgrades, and additions to our process, following our roadmap and your feedback.

So dive deep into creating more amazing mods. We are very excited to see what you come up with next!
