Why I don’t like to actively listen to little pump

Let’s get this right straight off the bat, I don’t like lil’ pump, or most of the new wave of Soundcloud rappers. I don’t like what they stand for, what they rap about, how they rap, or how the carry themselves in the public light. In my opinion I feel that they have lowered they barrier of entry so much that anyone can get into the business and be a hit.

All of the different people that have joined the Soundcloud wave is problematic for the rap industry, they have absolutely no talent, it is amazing how little effort it takes them to come out with a song or album. They brag about how little time they spend on their songs for example Migos DJ said that they spent 20–45 minutes on a song. This is incredibly little effort and shows how poor the overall quality in the industry is as Migos are one of the biggest rap groups of our time.

Most Soundcloud rappers in this day and age rely heavily on their producers. 80% of the time when people talk about how good a song is they talk about the beat, not the rappers. In fact some of the producers are become as well known as the rappers, for example Metro Boomin’ has actually started to come up with his own music. Tay Keith is also a major producer that is becoming more popular than some of the actual rappers.
