Monster Badges have dropped!
Staking will come soon, but we are hard at work building out the onboarding for more teams to join ohhNFT.
If you haven’t noticed the new staking dashboard we’ve brought out is not only working with some really nice data for users to view, but we have also onboarded some of the top projects in Cosmos & beyond to the ohhNFT DAO.
That’s right these projects are actually holders of Watchers and are DAO members!
This is a huge accomplishment and has massive long-term implications.
We must remember that the Owlies Trading game is no normal card game but an epicenter for gamfing Defi. The beauty of Owlies is it brings so much gamification potential for the ohhNFT platform.
As many have noticed the interchain community badges we have dropped to Bad Kids, and soon even more communities. As we onboard more teams into the ohhNFT verse, we also onboard potential participants in the Owlies game.
The more people utilizing various aspects of the game, the more robust and rich the entire ecosystem will be.
This is why a large focus is put on becoming multiple things not just one thing. We have all seen ecosystem after ecosystem fail. Gamfi projects trend downwards over a longer timeframe every single time.
What can set us apart and make us different is building this gamification into the ohhNFT platform to bring people together, creating a fun and exciting hub everyone wants to join.
I know we are all hungry for Owlies to start, and we are working hard to make that happen, but as I said we are building in a way that makes this sustainable long-term. So please bare with us as we are still a small team building in a bear.
There are several elements that were never part of the original Owlies game or roadmap that have been added since inception. Some of these will take extra time on the art side, others on the UI and backend implementation side.
Some of which we have announced like Watcher Pets, which are on the way. We are finishing up some other projects before we begin implementing the very special dashboard for staking Watcher Pets!
Another exciting addition is Shards. This is something I’ve hinted at/mentioned in spaces recently. It’s a very exciting element and brings about some big changes to the game.
To touch briefly on this, Shards can be earned by staking your 1:1 fully customized Owlies cards. These shards are a key in-game element that activates the Badge boosts on a player’s card.
Each Card has 8 slots for badges and each badge give a set boost. These boosts determine the power level of attack moves in the game. <Alpha Leak.
There are so many aspects of the game and the interface that will bring a far richer more robust experience because we have had this extra time to rethink, pivot and reinvent ourselves. Those that have been here from the start can easily see just how much more we are working to deliver than we ever imagined!
