Our Principles and Goals

At Owl Protocol we’re focused on building a no-code “workshop” for Dynamic NFTs, this platform will be:

1. Free-to-use for basic mechanics and developer tools
2. Open source, standardized smart contracts for all our dynamic features— audits will be done where necessary
3. Multichain — as the sister company of Vulcan Link, we have specialized in Web3 infrastructure for over 2 years. That’s why we’re the next up and coming multichain platform for NFTs.

Featured Use Cases

We’re constantly adding new features to our roadmap, but here are just some of the standout features our partners and projects are looking forward to:

1. Attaching/Detaching NFTs (equip/unequip) — ever want to have an NFT not just own other NFTs, but also change according to the child NFTs attached to it? Our standardized attach/detach feature allows you to create characters, PFPs, and more with detachable traits.
   Ever want to create a NFT collection where you can remove clothing, or accessories, and have those as their own NFTs? Now you can with Owl Protocol, and without any coding necessary.
2. Advanced Crosschain Whitelisting Mechanics — going beyond whitelisting, Owl Protocol allows you to set up advanced mechanics where you can create recipes/rules for how to qualify for a whitelist. These rules can encompass multiple blockchains creating incentives to attract users to a certain chain or support existing multichain collections.
3. Real-World Data and NFTs — with the support of our sister company Vulcan Link, Owl Protocol is well positioned to leverage Vulcan’s oracle infrastructure to connect real-world data with NFTs. Ever imagine having NFTs react to stock market indexes like the fear index? Or connect sports, racing, and other competition data to your NFTs.
   Previously these mechanics required expensive, custom integration with data providers, but Owl Protocol will offer a number of pre-defined data feeds for low cost. And if there’s certain data we don’t have, as a long time partner with Chainlink, we’re more than willing to have a chat and explore new data feeds.
4. Crafting, Combining, Bundling, and Lootboxes — bring NFTs into any game with common mechanics for in-game economies. You can even expand beyond your game world and incorporate NFTs from other games, metaverses, and creators. Owl Protocol leverages its sister company’s Web3 infrastructure to index, categorize, and make available every NFT ever created — or at least we’ll get there soon!
