Thread Haus integrating with OWL Protocol to bring innovative, multi-faceted NFT utility to Web3 Fashion.
Overview
Thread Haus, a movement that creates sustainable, multi-functional, gender-neutral apparel and accessories, is building with OWL Protocol to bring innovative NFT utility to the world of Web3 fashion. The Thread Haus Genesis Collection will feature 1000 InnoVot Dynamic NFTs, inspired by fashion icons and brands and featuring a growing selection of rare traits.
This multi-layered dynamic collection is enabled by integrating OWL Protocol’s open-source smart contracts, standards, and technical support to create dynamic attributes and composability. Each NFT will include the InnoVot character and a wide range of interchangeable clothing items and accessories that can be collected and traded as standalone NFTs.
The collection will be released in four phases, with collectors able to mint an InnoVot NFT for 0.05 ETH or a physical combo (InnoVot NFT and limited-edition version for 0.15 ETH, including a limited-edition physical sustainable t-shirt NFT. The t-shirt will be hard-capped at 100 available for each phase.
Existing supporters of the Thread Haus community who hold a Thread Haus Red Coin will be on the Red List and be among the first allowed to mint this collection.
The Integration with OWL Protocol
Owl Protocol’s dynamic NFT data standard is a flexible, on-chain data encoding format currently being trialed by over 20 new Dynamic NFT projects. The protocol goal is to increase the interoperability and utility of NFTs to enable a new generation of NFT adoption, where any project, metaverse, or game can easily interpret and understand dynamic NFTs from other projects and incorporate them into their world. With ThreadHaus, we are paving the way for future use cases and the longevity of their project and every successive project we work with.
Our first two integrations with ThreadHaus’s upcoming collections are:
- The InnoVot Collection — A composite layer Dynamic NFT of a robot collaboration between father x son, inspired by Thread Haus Collection and some of the industry’s top trendsetters in fashion, music, and film. Each NFT is minted as a parent NFT smart contract, which in turn owns the NFT accessories on-chain.
- A TBA Phygital Collection — Demonstrating Owl Protocol’s Asset Input/Output Router contracts, this external standalone smart contract can combine partial/component NFTs into a full NFT. In this case, we have several pieces of a limited edition ThreadHaus vest, which can be collected and combined to create the full NFT. For the first set of successful combined full NFTs, they will be able to further transform the NFT by collecting a special item, granting them the ability to create a real physical fashion item.
What’s next
On December 20th, Thread Haus hosted the 2022 Thread Haus Commemoration in collaboration with Seker Factory DAO. This IRL event, held at Seker Factory DAO’s physical location in Downtown Los Angeles, featured a unique NFT fashion experience complete with VR/AR components, live performances, and a special documentary screening. It also marked the official launch of phase 1 of the Thread Haus Genesis Collection.
Thread Haus will continue to promote the Genesis Collection in the months following this initial launch through exclusive secret mints, airdrops, social media marketing, and cross-promotion with partners and collaborators. The goal is to continue funding and building the Thread Haus community, with a target of 1000 members within Discord/Telegram.
