VendettaDAO is Integrating with OWL Protocol to Bring Next-Gen dNFT Tech to the Wild West of the Metaverse

VendettaDAO was already a successful gaming guild when they branched out into NFT and P2E game design. Now they are bringing dynamic NFTs (dNFT) and Soulbound Tokens (SBT) to the metaverse in a truly Wild West fashion. With numerous P2E games under construction and a metaverse planned for release late this year, VendettaDAO is on fire.

VendettaDAO is on a mission to blend a historical Wild West creative universe with the latest in blockchain, NFT, and crypto gaming technology. They are leveraging next-generation NFT and gaming technology, like Dynamic NFTs that upgrade and save game character info on-chain, cutting-edge SBTs that verify OG status for early adopters in the community, and the latest Unity engine gaming graphics.

The First Integration with OWL Protocol

Owl Protocol is creating standards and smart contracts for Dynamic NFT Data and Logic. These basic NFT primitives, which can be chained and combined to implement complex NFT rules are perfect to implement VendettaDAO’s breeding mechanics.

In VendettaDAO, the Horse Breeding mechanisms include specific horse DNA attributes including but not limited to color, breed, size, etc, and will be randomized when a breeding token is burned with two horses (ERC721), thus creating a new foal (baby horse) NFT with mixed attributes.

Time-Based Rules

A foal NFT can be a time-based NFT in which it takes x amount of days to be grown into a full-grown horse which can be used in-game or bred; the time it takes for the foal to grow into an adult can be accelerated via food consumables (ERC1155s).

Attachable/Removable NFT Accessories or Equipment

Accessories for the horse are standalone ERC721 NFTs, and can also be equipped and unequipped, which can either serve as a cosmetic or stat-changing equipment.

One amazing feature supported on launch is the ability to equip and remove certain accessories from the NFT character as standalone NFTs. This will allow players to trade and customize their favorite cowboy hats, saddles, and other items as real NFTs, then equip them to their character, which will be reflected in-game, as well as on-chain for NFT marketplaces.
