CryptoSolitaire Monthly Updates for September 2019
1. Pilantropo.com PITCH Startup Seminar
Another learning experience for our team! Last September 3, we attended Pilantropo.com’s PITCH seminar at The Oriental Hotel Legazpi. Big thanks to Mr. Jonathan De Luzuriaga, founder of Pilantropo.com, for the opportunity to learn more about how to run successful startups.
2. Philippine Competition Commission Seminar
Last September 12, our team attended another seminar at Marison Hotel Legazpi. This time about competition law and best practices. Thank you to PCC for promoting competition awareness in our region.
3. Bicol IT Startup Tech Talks: Sorsogon
Our head of marketing, Ismael Jerusalem helped organize this series of talks on technopreneurship for Bicol IT. Last September 21, Isma travelled to Aemilianum College Inc in Sorsogon to speak in front of dozens of students about technology startups.
4. Bicol IT Startup Tech Talks: Daet
For the second leg of the Startup Tech Talks series last September 28, Isma travelled all the way to Our Lady of Lourdes College Foundation in Daet, Camarines Norte province. Daet is a 5 hour commute from our office in Legazpi City.
5. 3D Solitaire for Decentraland Game Jam
This was the highlight of last month. From September 16 to 30, we worked on a 3D version of our solitaire game for the Decentraland Game Jam.
Soon, the game will also use the NFT playing cards created by Chenandink. We’re also planning to add more solitaire games like Spider and Free Cell to make the game more attractive.
I’m very proud of our submission to the game jam. Despite the size of our team and the low budget, we were still able to launch a working MVP of a 3D card game in less than 2 weeks.
