Mustachio Quest Updates #2: Basic Movements, Game Backdrops, Character Selection and More
We’re still at the early stage of our first-ever blockchain game — Mustachio Quest. Our lead game developer, Kristoffer Ray Corral, together with the artist and 3D Animator, Boii Mustache, continue to add new improvements to our upcoming 3D Openworld Metaverse Play-to-Earn NFT game. Here are some of the significant progress they’ve made since our last update:
First Batch of Mustachio 3D Avatars
Boii Mustache has developed the first batch of 3D playable Mustachio characters based on the 2D intricately hand-drawn Mustachio NFTs.
Basic Character Movements and Functionalities
The 3D Mustachios can do basic omnidirectional movements and jump using controllers. It can also destroy objects upon contact, trigger doors to move, and respawn.
Dialogue System and NPC
Our developers have created some prototype NPC and the dialogue system for the interactions of our Mustachios.
Loading and Transitions
We have already finished making the initial start page, character selection, and loading scene for the Mustachio NFTs into the game. The Mustachio will also be able to load from one scene to another and game progress can already be saved.
Game Backdrops and Maps
Our artist have also finished the character selection mechanic user interface and backdrop scenes as well as one of the 3D map assets that includes the dessert area.
Metamask Wallet Integration
You can now connect your Metamask account to our game.
