Ownly 2022–2024 Roadmap: Ownchain, Metaverse-Focused Marketplace, and Everything in Store For the Next Three Years

Before 2021 ends, we’d like to share our long-term plans for our OWN token, Ownly market, upcoming play-to-earn Mustachio Quest game, and other goals in the following years.
As we transition toward a Metaverse-focused platform and build our own blockchain — Ownchain, we’d love for our coin holders, NFT holders, and everyone in our community to learn more about our projects. Here’s a timeline of everything you can expect from our team in the next three years:
2022
Mustachio Quest Game
Early Preview and NFT Land Sale — 1st Quarter of 2022
- In the first quarter of 2022, we’ll be having the early preview of our play-to-earn NFT game called Mustachio Quest. The idea of the game originated from the mustached NFT avatars that we released last August. The Mustachios follow an exciting journey of the 100 Genesis Generation Mustachios as they explore mysterious places and find magical items that can help them in their quests. You’ll soon be able to get a glimpse of the concept and gameplay of the Mustachio Quest very soon. More importantly, you can buy NFT land in the game starting in the first few months of 2022.
Beta Launch — 2nd Quarter of 2022
- The Beta launch of the game will be made in the second quarter of 2022. This will help the developers polish the game and help spread the word through gamers and individuals outside our Ownly community.
Official Launch — 3rd Quarter of 2022
- The official launch of Mustachio Quest will be held in the third quarter of 2022. You’ll be able to enjoy its initial version and follow the storyline of the journey of the Mustachios. The game marketplace will also be integrated into our Ownly Market.
Play to Earn and $QUEST Reward Token Launch — 4th Quarter of 2022
- In the last quarter, players will be able to earn OWN in the game. We’ll also be launching our token called $QUEST. This new token will be used in giving in-game rewards.
OWN Token
Quarterly Buyback and Burn Program
- For every quarter of 2022–2024, we’ll be having our buyback and burn celebration. Our goal is to reduce the total supply of our hyper-deflationary token to 7 Billion OWN in the next three years from our initial token supply of 10 Billion OWN. We aim to wipe out 3 Billion OWN before the third quarter of 2024.
We’ll be wiping 1 Billion OWN Tokens in 2022 through our Buyback and Burn Quarterly Celebration!
Quarterly Airdrop to NFT Holders
- We have allocated a part of our token supply for OWN airdrops. These will be rewarded to our NFT holders, token holders, and community every quarter of the year until our airdrop wallet runs out.
Quarterly Staking Rewards
- For every quarter, we’ll be giving rewards to those who joined our pool-based staking.
Increase Liquidity in DEX Listing in the 1st Quarter of 2022
- We’ll also increase the liquidity in our DEX listing at Pancakeswap and Sparkswap. As we get listed in more exchanges, we’ll provide more liquidity to accommodate more transactions.
CEX Listing in the 1st and 3rd Quarter of 2022
- We’ll aim to be listed in at least two centralized crypto exchanges next year. This will be helpful in our coin adoption and will be beneficial to our token economy and also to the community.

Ownly Market
Quarterly Release of New NFT Art Collections
- We’ll be releasing more NFT Art collections in every quarter of each year. We can’t tell you in advance the exact lineup of every artist that we’ll work with. What can assure you is in the 1st quarter of 2022, we’ll be collaborating with an artist that explores the intersection between digital art and physical toys.
Ownly Market Version 5.0 Launch — 3rd Quarter 2022
- Our developers will continue to improve our Ownly Market. In its fifth version, you’ll be able to:
- Buy assets in our Mustachio Quest Game Marketplace through Ownly Market. This includes Mustachio accessories that will be advantageous for you in the game.
- Self-Mint NFTs. Artists can decide to upload and mint their own NFT artworks and collection directly to the market without the need to contact our Ownly team.
- Enjoy our Ownly Market Public Opening. We will soon open our market to anyone willing to mint, buy, and sell NFTs.
Ownly Market Version 6.0 Launch — 4th Quarter 2022
- The sixth version of our marketplace will be a mobile app for easier access. No need to open your PC to get that lovely NFT you’d been checking for a long time.
Community Growth
As for our community, in the next three years, you can expect us to:
- Build More Partnerships. We’ll be working with more like-minded people as we move towards our goals and build a community that recognizes the value and use-cases of Non-Fungible Tokens.
- Continue to Promote our NFTs, Token, and Game. Through strategic marketing efforts, we’ll spread the word about our NFT products.
- Host More Ask Me Anything (AMA) Sessions. We will continue the fun-filled online talks with our founders and team as they discuss the company updates and milestones.
- Provide Valuable Content Through Our Videos. NFTs are still relatively new and we aim to give our community informative videos which will help them understand the beauty of NFTs. We’d also like to share our upcoming collections and milestones through our videos.
Second Round of Funding
- Lastly, we’ll aim to have our second round of funding. This will be helpful in growing our team as we aim to speed up the completion of our projects and expand internationally.
2023
OwnDAO
- In the first quarter of 2023, OWN Holders will begin to start governance. Through voting, they can now decide on the economic direction of the platform. This includes voting for the next featured artist, collateral, and interest rate, etc.

- We will begin the research and development of our NFT-focused, environment-friendly, cost-efficient, metaverse blockchain in the second and third quarters of 2023 and you can get the early preview in the last quarter.

Automated Scholarships
- Mustachio NFT Holders can now lend their NFTs to their game “scholars”. This will allow them to let their “scholars” earn OWN via daily quests and PvP matches.
Quarterly World Tournament
- Players can now enjoy matches with other Mustachio Quest players all over the globe and see their rank in the world tournament!
OWN Token
- For our token, we’ll continue to conduct our quarterly buyback and burn celebration, quarterly airdrops to NFT holders, provide staking rewards and push to make our token listed in at least two new crypto exchanges.

Community Growth
- We’ll evaluate our marketing efforts in the previous year and improve our ways of reaching out to our community as we guide them into the big changes in our platform. AMA sessions, more partnerships, and more video content are here to stay!

- There will always be new collections and new artists to be featured in every quarter of 2023. Aside from that, we will be releasing Version 7.0 of our NFT marketplace. This will include an Artist Launchpad which will allow artists to collaborate and create NFTs collections involving several other artists.

Ownchain Version 1.0 Launch
- The official launch of the initial version of Ownchain will be in the third quarter of 2024! It is one of our aim to reduce our carbon and energy footprint so our very own blockchain will realize that goal for us.

Mustachio Quest Game
Integration with Ownchain
- We will migrate and integrate our Mustachio Quest game to Ownchain. This will help our developers in managing the changes that will be implemented in the game.
Quarterly World Tournament
- For every three months, there will be a world championship to find out the best Mustachio Quest players in the world! Those with the highest ranking will surely get their reward.
OWN Token
- Quarterly buyback and burn celebration, quarterly airdrops to NFT holders, provide staking rewards are still on our roadmap in 2024, as well as our token being on international crypto exchanges and listings.
