Wealth and asset management expert Oliver Bilal joins WeOwn as angel investor and member of the Senior Advisory Board

We’re proud to announce that Oliver Bilal, ex-Head of International Sales & Marketing at Natixis Investment Managers and former Head of EMEA for UBS Asset Management joins as angel investor and member of the Senior Advisory Board. Oliver will assist WeOwn in further developing the blockchain-based service offering for the wealth and asset management industry.

Oliver brings industry, sales & marketing expertise to WeOwn. As a member of the company’s Senior Advisory Board he will support WeOwn and its customers in navigating the asset management market, ensuring the development and deployment of solutions for the emerging digital asset infrastructure.

Oliver Bilal is the fifth Senior Advisor joining our board following Richard Manger, Klaus Tschütscher, Ping Keung Chan and Robert Plehn.

Oliver has been in senior management positions in asset management for more than 20 years. Most recently, Oliver was Head of International Sales and Marketing at Natixis Investment Managers based in London from 2017–2021, overseeing all related distribution and institutional activities across Europe, Asia Pacific, Latin America and the Middle East. Prior to Natixis, Oliver Bilal served as Head of EMEA for UBS Asset Management based in London and as Chief Executive Officer at Baroda Pioneer in Mumbai, India. Prior to Baroda Pioneer, Oliver was Head of Sales and Marketing for Pioneer Investments in Germany, and European Head of Institutional Business Development and Consultant Relations for Allianz Global Investors Europe. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
