Intermountain Healthcare and Oxeon Partners are launching a new company, Empiric Health, alongside Loma Linda, its first anchor customer. Empiric Health is a technology-enabled service that gives health system-based clinicians the tools & support they need to practice true evidence-based care. The initial offering is based on the ProComp clinical program at Intermountain, which has saved over ~$90M to date, and continues to deliver results through supply savings, length of stay reduction, and other operational efficiencies. Empiric is implementing at Loma Linda in 2017 and scaling to additional customers in early 2018.
