Oxx is a growth capital firm with offices in London and Stockholm, focused on investing in scale-up stage B2B software companies with significant commercial traction. Oxx was launched in 2017 by founding partners Richard Anton and Mikael Johnsson who honed their strategy working together at Amadeus Capital Partners.
The role
We are opening up a new intern role, offering hands-on education in venture capital. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate and knowledgeable about the world of technology investment and software. Interns at Oxx will normally support members of the broader investment team.
Responsibilities include:
· carry out detailed analysis and due diligence on investment opportunities;
· carry out market analyses, financial analyses and quantitative modelling;
· support the production of LP reports on the progress of portfolio companies; and
· support portfolio companies in areas such as market and competitor analysis, acquisition review and financial analysis of prospective funding or exit events.
The role is based in London or Stockholm and may involve some travel.
Immediate start date, with the internship running up to six months. We will also be running a seperate summer internship programme for candidates that can join over summer.
The candidate
The ideal candidate would have 1 or 2 years experience working in a technology company, consulting or finance; be a smart, passionate self-starter excited about technology investment in the B2B software space; and thrive in a fast-paced environment, able to work both independently and within a small team.
