I've been vegetarian now for two weeks. I would be lying if I said it was easy but I also would be lying if I said it was hard. If you try hard and put effort in it it’s actually not that hard to be a vegetarian. If you are trying out vegetarianism and are about to give up — don’t! Here are some inspirational quotes to keep you going.

My experience has been pretty easy so far and I hope it stays that way. Physically I don’t feel any different and I still have the same amount of energy. I also have not been so hungry like I thought I would be. I’m not going to lie though, I have been eating a lot of snacks.

Recently I went through something that I just have to share. I was chilling at my grandma’s house when she asked me if I wanted some soup with beef that she made. I told her I couldn't and she got really confused. She kept on asking me why but I didn't answer. I’m going to tell the truth — I was scared. I know my grandma and I know she would freak out or try to force me to eat meat. Eventually my cousin told her and the first thing she said was, “Are you crazy?! You’re gonna die.”

I started laughing when she said that. I found it so funny because I know you can’t actually die just because you’re vegetarian. I told her you can’t actually die being vegetarian for just one month. After that she told me that she was going to feed me a bunch of meat. I went up to my cousin’s room and stayed there for the rest of the day. I love my grandma’s food but most of what she makes has meat in it. The next day, while everyone was eating some beef, I was eating some bread with cheese. The beef looked good but the bread and cheese was good too.
