Project Over, Am I? I Don’t think so

My DOT project is now over, which means that I don’t HAVE to keep taking shorter showers. After starting this project, I came to the realization that the planet is running out of fresh water and that humans should do something about this huge problem. I kept on reading many articles and watching videos about this topic, which helped me understand that I can help the world by saving more water and using it wisely because water is the most precious thing humans could have and we are misusing it. In these four weeks, I saved 252 gallons of water. Looking back to this project, I was amazed at how much water I wasted in just one shower and I felt like taking shorter showers is not enough. I searched up “how to save water” and found a link that mentioned many way to save water (click here to see). I also found this cool link called Water Conservation Techniques that got me thinking more about why saving water was important. I figured that there were multiple ways to save water and I am happy to say that I will take action and save fresh water and so should you.

Start to change because every single drop is important.

Saving fresh water is important for everyone, you may have it now but it will be gone later. Stop being selfish and start saving water!
