I’m kinda disappointed and happy at the same time. I’m happy because I’ll be able to eat meat soon. I’m disappointed because I didn’t really have a full experience. When I say full experience I mean I won’t be able to have my friends be my side and cheer me on meanwhile I’m cheering them on. It’s better when you have your friends by your side and you’re not alone. Once I’m done with this post I won’t be able to go to vegetarian class on Fridays or tell people I don’t eat meat and them giving me these faces that are priceless.

Being vegan wasn’t bad at all, although I was pretty hungry in the beginning but I think it was more because I wasn’t doing my research for what vegans are supposed to eat so then I wouldn’t have been so hungry. The whole experience of being vegan was pretty exhausting but surprising. Surprising because I honestly didn’t think I was going to last a week but I did.

People need to take action — not just talk but do. People need to be informed. Not enough people talk about climate change, what is the reality, what is in front of them. Talk about it! Tell your friends and remind yourself that you can do better and one person does make a difference. Each person has a purpose, each person has a role on this planet, don’t take advantage of what we have. Be a better friend, brother, sister, daughter, son, parent…be a better you.
