I miss cars. I miss not putting my tushie in a comfortable seat. I miss not listening to the radio. I miss looking through the window. I admit that I have used a car twice while doing the DOT project but you get my point. Do you know how hard it is to wake up at 5:30 am in order to leave at 6:30 am to avoid traffic? It sucks, I absolutely hate it.

The reason I did this DOT project was because I thought it was easy and simple but it is not, especially in the neighborhood I live in. Although its been a pain, its pretty fantastic at the same time.

It’s pretty cool seeing DC in the early morning hours. Its pretty cool seeing animals in Rock Creek — who knew red foxes live there?! My diet has changed too. I never ate McDonald back to back before but because I woke up late and didn’t have time for breakfast at home I had limited on the go options so McDonalds it was. Although the McDonalds thing is not a good change — it’s a poor substitute for my usual coffee, pancakes, sausage, and eggs — it was still a new experience. I've gotten a few scratches and a few bumps. It’s a visual reminder that I helped the environment. Although there were some negative things there were certainly some positive things too.
