If the goal for your video channel is world domination, then you want to make sure your channel attracts as many subscribers as possible. The team at OZ has put together a list of quick and easy tools to help you step up your game.

PIXLR Editor

Pixlr Editor is a free alternative to Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop for basic photo manipulation. It has a similar feel to Photoshop with features such as layers and effects but even if you have no Photoshop experience, it’s pretty easy to use. It also works in the browser so there is nothing to download or install. Pixlr will allow you to customize your channel poster, collection posters or your social media promotion images and export them as JPG and PNG.

Free Stock Imagery

For those who don’t have their own images to use for channel posters or social media posts, the popular option is to use stock photography. However, finding good stock imagery can feel like a nightmare. Scrolling through cliche, cheesy, low res or even seriously expensive photos can be mind-numbingly dull and frustrating. So we’ve put together a list of free stock imagery, which offer high-res images that won’t put you out of pocket.

Canva.com

Canva can really help you up your Social Media game. A lot of the templates available are free and you can easily create collages from pre-made templates or from scratch. Canva also has available templates for Twitter, Facebook, Instagram posts but also promotion templates and many other posters, blogging & events resources. Definitely a must for colorful and diversified social media efforts. Canva also offers a “Design School” which teaches you from scratch and helps you get familiar with the basic Canva tools that will help you create amazing designs. Big thumbs up for Canva from our Marketing team at OZ.

Videohance. com

Videohance fits perfectly in the “easy to use” category, and if you prefer your messaging in video form then this is your go-to. With Videohance you can give your videos an authentic look with textures taken from real vintage film and at the same time dramatically change your video’s look with just a tap.

The Pattern Library

The Pattern Library is a great new resource for designers (and wannabes).

Whether you need a cool wallpaper for your desktop or smartphone, a texture to incorporate into your own design, or even just something you can print out on the inkjet when wrapping paper is getting low, everyone needs a good one every once and a while. From that perspective, the Pattern Library is a lovely little resource with some colorful, attractive, and whimsical tiles from some of the web’s best designers. (Fast Company)

Our designers swear by it so give it a try, get creative!
