After that evening summer shower
Sailing clouds dripping away
The yellow sun lighting up the sky
We made our way into the park
Your long fingers holding mine
Confiding your love all in me
My little steps leaping for yours
The dark stones drenched in rain
Gleaming out to show its shine
You lead me through the narrow path
Striding on those fallen leaves
Sudden puddles surprising me
Your iron arms there lifting me across
Gleefully swinging me up in the air
Shrieking loudly frightening the birds
Your hug plunging me into your heart
Arms armouring against all my fears
Breathing the truth of your words that day
Confidence born out of the faith
On a loving heart is indeed a gift
As you walk with hopes ever in life!
