I have fallen deeply
Loved deeply
Felt joy and sorrow and pain,
Felt them with all my heart;
I have been changed,
Let myself be changed
by another
To whom I have given my heart
To whom I have given my soul
Completely.

In your eyes I saw my own fire —
Burn! Burn! Burn!
It often scared me,
Then scarred me
in the end;
Scarred by your kisses,
Your tongue searing hot,
Though your touch, so cold
the next moment.
What is this, Love,
This love…

Fear and Longing
and Desire in your eyes,
Your teeth on my skin,
Your hands,
Now warm and tender,
Cradling my soul.

I have loved deeply,
Completely;
I have been changed by another…

And now we must part.
