Beholding the Prince…!

My body aches for your touch

My heart longs for your embrace

My ear itches for your musings

My nose yearns for your scent

My hunger is to gaze at you with the eyes of my heart

To talk to you with the kiss of my lips

To touch you with the sensation of my love

To listen to you with the heed of my being…’till I wonder!

…Wonder…but why? — when only you can slay the giant of loneliness

And undo feelings of past betrayal

Aren’t you the one who can quench my deep longing for the truth?

And rescue me from the wrath of ghosting, benching…

As we share life’s pleasures and pressures

Cos we are chained with the chains of love, you and I

When we come to be though the long wait be lamentable

I shall run to you with the violence of a hurricane

And attack you with the fire of my love

Hold thee with the quiet intensity of my muscles

And wait for the roar of universe’s endorsement

Cos this was fashioned by heaven’s hand, since the beginning of you and I

And finally, together you and I, coasting through life

Entwined chuckling in the twilight for endless days

Doused in joy that buries demons of past pain of love

As we bottle the scents of our true worth in love

Storing our hearts in the jeweled boxes of our souls

Finally, free from life’s haunted house

Forever, as long as forever will be!
