Flower Girl

A Poem

A sunny spring day
brings out the best
in you,
A light breeze lets
you sway without
care.
I watch as you dance
on the grass like a
fool,
Hoping this will always
be a moment that we
share.
Even if there comes a
time where your petals
fall
And the taste you leave
in my mouth is simply
bitter,
I will never leave your
side come daybreak or
nightfall,
I want to be there until
the day that you
wither.
