A Poem
I have trouble living in the moment.
A breathtaking view and here I am,
Before it, not really looking,
But squeezing it, like peeled fruit
In clenched fists, a plum oozes
Between fingers, but all that remains
From the effort is an unquenched thirst,
A wasted fruit, and a view which continues existing,
Regardless.
